Worm Castings — For Sale
Worm castings are a completely natural, chemical-free soil amendment produced by our composting worms. They're gentle on plants, safe around pets, pollinators and other garden critters, and they're a core part of our on-farm fertility program at Hops, Stock & Barrel. We now have them available for home gardeners, community growers, and horticultural and agricultural customers.

Why Use Worm Castings?
Worm castings are a completely natural, chemical-free soil amendment. Here's what they do for your soil and plants:
• Improves soil structure — increases porosity, aeration and water-holding capacity, and reduces compaction and erosion
• Rich, slow-release nutrition — naturally high in nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium and magnesium, held in stable humic forms that feed plants gradually rather than in one hit
• Supercharges soil biology — carries roughly 10–20 times more beneficial microbial life than typical soil, including bacteria and fungi that support plant health
• Boosts germination and yields — natural plant growth compounds (auxins, gibberellins and cytokinins) support faster germination, stronger roots and improved yields
• Helps suppress pests and disease — naturally occurring enzymes and compounds can help suppress some common pests and pathogens
• 100% natural and chemical-free — no synthetic inputs, and a neutral pH means it won't burn plants or roots the way synthetic fertilisers can. Gentle and safe around seedlings, pets, pollinators and other garden critters.
